Moments in the Park....

My daughter is learning to ride a bike with no training wheels, so we've been going to the park regularly. On sunday when we got there it started raining but we went back when it stopped. I was in a "particular mood" that day so I tried to canalize my emotions through my small Canon pocket camera... Let me share with you what I captured.....On the way back home looking at these photos my mood had changed.... This is what photography does to me.....

Samples, facebook and more!

September has been FRIDA's organizing and sample production month. I've been ordering all kinds of samples, designing books, trying new products and working the layout for the holiday season. I came up with a great holiday promotion and awesome holiday card designs. I will be sending that out soon.

Sandwiches for the Homeless

My friend Mariana and I became part of a big group of women who take turns every week to make sandwiches for the Missionaries of Charity soup kitchen in downtown. Our task was to make 150 sandwiches, cut them in half and deliver them in time for the tuesday morning feeding. We couldn't stay for the feeding but the whole experience was nice and fulfilling. We involved the children as well to introduce them to the early concept of giving. We will definitely continue helping as we can with this organization and others.
